Window graphics installation helps to steer the University of Bolton's ROKiT Racing Stars to launch

Working with the University of Bolton's National Centre for Motorsport Engineering, Impression was pleased to recently print and install large format window graphics to launch a major new NCME initiative.

Certain to stop traffic at this busy point in Bolton, window graphics by Impression were produced in-house at our Bolton, Greater Manchester workshop before on-site installation by our own experienced team in line with the University's launch schedule.

Window graphics to get ROKiT Racing Stars off the starting grid in Bolton

The NCME at the University of Bolton is unique in its expertise, and will host the F4 Esports Programme in the coming year to find the next generation of British motorsport talent. Targeting applications from 14 and 15-year olds keen to pursue a career in motorsport, 16 fastest qualifiers will be invited to a grand final in May where they'll drive the ROKiT Racing Star Esports digital simulator at the University.

Two winners - one boy and one girl - representing the best of young racing talent will be awarded the 2022 ROKiT Racing Stars accolade and offered professional driver coaching and training from Motorsport UK and the Hitech Race Team Academy, with the aim of achieving FIA Competition Licences.

Winning ROKiT Racing Stars may then be awarded fully-funded and highly coveted seats in the ROKiT Formula 4 Racing Team, competing in the 2021 British F4 Championship. Will the next Lewis Hamilton be born in Bolton?

Large format window graphics delivered by Impression

Benefiting from a close working relationship with our client and with our local Bolton workshop close to hand, during Consult we collaborated with the NCME team, led by Dr Mark Busfield, to plan production and installation in line with the ROKiT Racing Stars programme launch.

Professional presentation of this landmark motorsport competition was essential, with well-known brand association and a highly sought-after prize making this an attention-grabbing concept that commanded quality throughout.

Window graphics production by Impression's Greater Manchester team

Working with impactful artwork supplied by our client, Impression's production team printed crystal-clear print of the ROKiT Racing Stars window graphics. Managed by our Production Manager Scott together with our Consult and Deliver in-house teams, our print schedule for this job was, as always, planned carefully to ensure we met our client's installation schedule.

The window graphics will be in place until at least April 2022. Impression's team used durable materials for this project which will continue to carry strong impact throughout the competition's promotional phase. Continued quality assurance produced a striking and accurate print, ready for installation.

Installation Manager Paul led our installation team on site, undertaking all necessary risk assessments and collaborating with our client to ensure all relevant accesses and equipment were made available for a smooth installation.
