Uniting financial services through
time-critical internal rebranding
Having identified that its services and teams were operating independently of each other, financial services provider Jerrold Holdings worked with a leading Manchester branding and marketing agency and Impression to rebrand as ‘Together’. Together fully unites the oganisation’s products, giving the business a definitive platform from which to grow.
Impression worked with Together and its branding agency to bring the rebrand to life over a weekend, creating instant impact and excitement internally that got people talking about the rebrand and understanding its ethos. Impression, let by our directors and production team, consulted thoroughly with Together and its branding agency, developing a deep understanding of the values behind the rebrand and the vision for its launch. Working in partnership, an internal launch plan was devised which would achieve instant impact, excitement, and align tightly with the client’s wider marketing strategy.
Impression surveyed the 5-floor Cheadle head office, identifying how the rebrand could be launched internally to make the desired impact whilst working to budget. Our visual branding solution was to be in situ for the client’s return to work after a weekend, and so installation needed to be achievable in a 2-day window.
Our team worked alongside one of Manchester’s leading design agencies to develop a complete suite of products, from practical wayfinding and internal signage to bespoke wallpapers, floor and window signage, external signs and unique promotional tools which engaged Together’s team and embedded the rebrand within the business.
The creative ideas flowed, and we particularly liked our magnetic wall and jigsaw pieces. On arrival at work following the weekend’s installation, all staff members received a magnetic jigsaw piece as part of their welcome pack featuring staff images which, when placed on the wall, spelled out ‘Together’. The activity united the client’s team, created a great talking point and demonstrated the uniqueness of our ideas for a project such as this.
Having worked with our client and its agency during development of the brief to deliver expert pre-press and production know-how, our production team was kept busy in the lead-up to Together’s rebrand launch. With an extensive range of products to deliver in order to make the desired impact, each piece was hand-finished, quality-assured and packed in good time, taking care to ensure consistency in the rebrand’s colour palette for a seamless launch.
During the course of the weekend installation, we kept our Bolton production unit open to accommodate any last-minute changes, reshaping or resizing to maintain a seamless and fully-managed installation schedule that delivered to the client’s schedule.
Impression’s delivery of the Together rebrand project was a fantastic demonstration of knowledge, teamwork and efficient management of a time-critical installation. Having completed usual pre-installation risk assessments, Impression arrived on site on a Friday after the client’s close of business.
Over the following two days and two nights, we removed all existing internal and external branding, replacing with Together-branded products created by Impression. All 5 floors of the building were rebranded, every member of our full Impression team taking part to complete the installation by Sunday night. This exceptional team effort, featuring unique work and creative ideas, not only united the client’s business but brought Impression closer together too.
